My name is Carolyn and I am a single mom (never been married) with two adult children, Michael (20) and Jessica (19). I am also a Christian, yes I am a "Jesus Girl" and I can't imagine my life without Him.
I am Girl Interrupted: On Purpose And For A Purpose, my life is in transition and blogging is a great outlet for documenting my journey. As a Christian I know that my Purpose is to Worship, Honor, Praise and live a life that is Holy and acceptable unto God, which is my reasonable service, Amen.
God said that He has a plan for my life and that those plans are good and full of hope. I don't know what it is, but He knows my future and I am ready to go. I do know that there will be some difficulties, I have had difficulties before. I do know that FEAR AND DOUBT can't stop me anymore, but it will try. I am no longer concerned about what people think of me, only what Jesus thinks matters. I know that I must continually pray, study and seek His Will concerning my life. This blog is designed to Motivate, Inspire and Encourage others and myself to live life On Purpose And For A Purpose.
In the meantime I have written out a list of goals that I would like to accomplish or at least work towards before the end of 2014. These goals are simple and attainable for me, I AM NOT trying to live my life to the EXTREME. Here are a few that are on my list: Lose Weight (working on it), visit my long time friend Carlita, who lives in Virginia, and make a dress and a skirt (I bought my first pattern, now I have to find the right fabric) and learn how to swim.
I AM MOVING FORWARD FOR HIS SAKE, I WILL FOLLOW.
